He enjoyed the evening light dropped lower the sky from the riverside, where he has parked his car...as the light of day draining away, giving way to his desire as dark as night. The street lights across the riverside road click on and another day on the earth has just went down.
As the twilight had fallen, the shadow of lamp posts had faded into the shady of the sidewalk. In that fading glow; she comes and stand in a close silence of that dim evening .
He drives his car towards her and stops just in front of the damp smelling hydrant in front of the same lamp post and asks her - Hey how much?
The mosquitoes were out and she wanted to get rid of them. She says - Five thousand rupees for an hour.
- Phew - He exclaimed - I could afford only three thousand...
She thought for while and says - Ummm.......okay, then the room charges and drinks are on you.
He shrugs and says - Okie....come on ....get inside the car baby.
(After two hours, in a hotel room)
He pays her - Here are your six thousand rupees...and I pay you a thousand more as tip....you were just awesome and made me felt so relaxed...
She counts the money and says - You are Monty Singh right?
He was shocked - How do you know my name?
She smiles and says - Do you remember...few years back you came to my house once, to consider a marriage proposal with me. My parents wanted to arrange the marriage desperately but they were so poor that they could hardly afford to pay any dowry for it. You were also one of the prospective bridegrooms, who came, checked me out from top to bottom.... ate nice foods and finally rejected me for that same reason like all others...
- Ohh! I am...I am so sorry - He says.
- That doesn't matter anything now. See how much you liked me, loved me today....actually not me but my....anyways bye ...I need to get some more customers tonight.... -
She walked away from the room.
